Location: Ohio based with regional travel (based from home in one of the following areas; Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron or Columbus area)

Salary: $30 hourly + Overtime+ $600 vehicle allowance

In this role you will perform all repair, installation, and maintenance duties required by our distributors and customers. To be successful as an Appliance Service Specialist, you should be able to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical concerns and comfortable using all hand / power tools. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills as well as achieve exceptional customer service.

In this role you will be traveling to client sites regionally in;
Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan & Indiana

Responsibilities:

Deliver and install commercial appliances / equipment at customer locations.
Install and set up payment card systems on vended and coin store machines.
Test the functionality of newly installed equipment.
Examine appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
Diagnose, repair, or replace defective or damaged appliance components including faulty power supplies and hoses, malfunctioning drive belts, faulty thermal resistors, and thermal fuses, and broken heating elements.
Perform preventative maintenance work on appliances.
Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
Maintain an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in installation, service and repair of commercial or residential laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers)
Industry experience in HVAC, commercial laundromats, residential or commercial laundry, kitchen, restaurants etc. is a plus – must including plumbing
Experience with light electrical, plumbing, and mechanical applications
Rigging experience is a plus
Mechanical troubleshooting
Electrical Troubleshooting – experienced with Multimeters, Volt meters, etc
The ability to use various hand tools
Excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to travel regionally to customer sites in OH, KY, MI & IN
Must have a clean / valid driver’s license and record (no: suspensions, speeding violations, accidents etc)
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
