Compensation Range: 50-60/hr W2
Contract – 12 Months
iThe Planet Group is seeking an experienced RPG Programmer to develop, maintain, and modernize business-critical applications running on IBM i. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RPG developer who enjoys working with both legacy and modern RPG environments
Responsibilities- s:
Develop and maintain applications using RPG III/IV, ILE RPG, and Free-Form RP - G.Work with CL, DB2 for i, SQL, and web service
- s.Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performanc
- e.Support application modernization, integrations, and legacy system enhancement
- s.Work closely with business users, analysts, and development team
- ce:10+ years of hands-on RPG development experience on IBM
- i.Strong RPG IV / ILE RPG, CL, and DB2 for i experien
- ce.
Experience with SQL and web servic - es.
Experience supporting Accounting systems, particularly Accounts Receivable (A - R).Experience modernizing legacy applications and codebas
- es.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fie - ld.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skil
