Sample Receiving Technician – Earth City, MO

Full‑time position. Compensation: USD 17 – 18 hourly with overtime as needed.

• Log, track, and verify receipt and shipment of all samples.
• Prepare bottle kits, label samples, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Determine priority and appropriate testing procedures according to Chain of Custody.
• Dispose of samples and waste per applicable procedures.
• Validate DOT regulations for inbound samples and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter samples into the Lab Management System, assign lot numbers, and distribute paperwork to Project Managers.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and stock materials daily.
• Monitor freezer and cooler temperatures and ensure compliance with SOP guidelines.
• Keep the department clean and organized to promote a safe work environment.
• Assist with maintenance of walk‑in coolers and shipping of empty coolers to clients.
• Perform splits, composites, and courier duties as needed.
• Conduct client interactions in a professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by local management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
