Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Regional Business Development Manager in Northern and Central California. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include market analysis, executing sales strategies, attending networking events, and collaborating with the internal team to meet revenue targets. The Regional Business Development Manager will play a key role in promoting Neuro Praxis’s rehabilitation programs and expanding our reach within Northern California.
Key Responsibilities- Market Development & Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for the region.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with referral sources including physicians, case managers, hospitals, payors, attorneys, and community organizations.
- Monitor regional trends, competitors, and opportunities to expand market share.
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional stakeholders.
- Foster trust-based, consultative partnerships with referrers and decision-makers.
- Represent Neuro Praxis at conferences, events, and meetings to raise awareness of our mission and services.
- Work closely with Admissions, Clinical Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless referral-to-service conversion.
- Provide regular reporting on market activity, referral patterns, and growth outcomes to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service offerings align with regional needs.
- Performance & Results
- Meet or exceed referral growth and conversion targets.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute insights to inform strategic planning and service innovation.
- Strong sales and marketing skills, including market analysis and strategic planning
- Experience in business development and client relationship management
- Ability to network and develop strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and rehabilitation programs is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is advantageous
- 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management in healthcare, rehabilitation, or related industries.
- Clinical background (RN, OT, PT, ST, CM) a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
