Business Consultant, Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business function expert on multiple teams
• Identify business aspects of projects needing modification
• Provide guidance/training to improve team performance
• Develop and analyze data models and reports
• Conduct application/technology demonstrations
• Provide expert advice to team members/business partners
• Lead complex analysis and make recommendations for solutions
• Develop project/business objectives and requirements
• Update project status to management
• Create and revise documentation regarding project activities
• Define test strategy/approach for department/project
• Liaise between department/project and internal/external contacts

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Project coordination and/or leadership experience
• Business planning and consulting skills
• Experience in researching, analyzing, identifying, and resolving complex business problems
• Skills in developing data models using spreadsheet applications
• Proficiency in PC software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, MS Project)
• Knowledge of project management tools (GANTT, Pert charts, Project Professional, MS Project)
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze, compile, and interpret data
• Strong presentation and material preparation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• PMP designation or related professional certification preferred
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Axis is a plus
