3D Artist

Responsibilities

• Create visual concepts for user interface features and experiences.
• Partner with UI designers and stakeholders to rapidly iterate on ideas that are both compelling and feasible.
• Refine concepts into high-quality visuals that guide final asset production.
• Produce production-ready assets and supporting design intent documentation.
• Create 3D and 2D deliverables based on program and project needs.
• Help maintain asset libraries to drive consistency, quality, and reuse across programs.
• Contribute to concept development across GM brands and multiple areas of the user experience.

• 3+ years of experience in 3D art, visualization, motion, or related digital design work.
• Strong foundation in 3D visual design and CGI production, with a portfolio demonstrating concept development, visual storytelling, and high-quality execution.
• Ability to take work from early concept through polished, production-ready output that guides downstream production.
• Proficiency in at least one major 3D workflow, such as Blender, Maya, or a similar platform, with experience in low poly modeling, texturing, and visualization workflows.
• Experience using post-production tools such as Nuke, After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalent software to create static 2D imagery, animation, and real-time 3D outputs.
• Strong visual judgment, collaboration skills, and an organized, self-directed approach to managing work, assets, and feedback.
