Front Desk Associate

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including the processing of guest check ins, member retention, and maintaining quality customer service.

• Executes procedures as outlined by front desk manual
• Answers phones, takes messages and transfers calls
• Is knowledgeable of club amenities and surroundings
• Communicates kindly and sincerely using members’ names
• Attends all staff and club meetings and events
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with members and staff
• Ensures front desk is clean, maintained and organized at all times
• Can respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

• Holds a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
• Provides input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
• Can respond to common inquiries or complaints from members

• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
• Can work well with others
• Has experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Possesses customer service abilities

• Can stand for long periods of time
• Can lift up to 35 pounds
• Can communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
