We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate, and reliable Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team! If you love kids, have strong customer service skills, and want to make a difference while advancing your career, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Details- Current Opening:
Experienced Dental Assistant for a busy pediatric dental office - Experience
Required:
Minimum of 2 years preferred - Have flexibility to work a few later afternoon shifts during the week
- Must be able to work 2–3 Saturdays per month, 8 AM–1 PM
- Schedule released 2–3 weeks in advance
- Location:
Must be able to commute to all 3 of our Kansas City area offices:
Independence, Waldo, and Midtown (All on the Missouri Side) - Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS

- Welcome and prepare patients for treatments/checkups
- Assist dentists with 4-handed dentistry
- Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments/equipment
- Provide oral hygiene & post‑op care instructions
- Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked
- Assist with lab tasks
- Proven dental assistant experience (pediatric experience a plus)
- Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Coronal polishing certification a plus
- Computer literacy (dental software experience preferred)
- Excellent communication & people skills
- Strong attention to detail, well‑organized, and reliable
- Dental assisting school preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are an asset
