A school psychologist position is available, offering the opportunity to support student learning and well-being within educational settings. This role requires providing comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, consultation, and intervention to promote positive outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Support special education evaluations and eligibility determinations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Offer training and resources to school staff on mental health and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with legal and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
  • Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid school psychologist certification or licensure
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to multiple school locations as required

Location:

Independence, MO, with potential travel to various educational sites within the area.
