Job Opportunity:
Combined Grades 3–4 Christian Teacher

Salem Lutheran School is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and student-centered educator to join our ministry team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about nurturing both the academic minds and the Christian faith of our elementary students in a dynamic, combined Grade 3–4 classroom.

As the Grades 3–4 teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to foster a close-knit classroom community, utilizing differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of two distinct grade levels. You will weave Christian values throughout the daily curriculum, helping students grow in their relationship with Christ while achieving academic excellence.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, Christ-centered lessons aligned with school curriculum standards for a combined 3rd and 4th-grade classroom.
• Establish a positive, well-managed, and nurturing classroom environment rooted in Christian love and grace.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing differentiated instruction to support and challenge students at both grade levels.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support the mission and ministry of Salem Lutheran School.

• Education:
  
  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Education or related field preferred).
• Faith: A committed Christian who is eager to model Lutheran/Christian values and integrate faith into daily learning.
• Background Check:
  Must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Residency:
  Must be a legal United States resident.
• Transportation:
  Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Skills:
  
  Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multi-grade lesson planning.

Starting Salary: $30,000 (commensurate with experience/credentials).
