Job Description

Provides temporary support to our Energy Centers. Selected candidates will work up to a maximum of 1000 hours per calendar year. Key responsibilities include performing a variety of general labor and cleaning in and around an Energy Center on energy center equipment in operating areas and shops. The work involves operating and maintaining generating station property, including use of electrical and air powered tools;

operating sump pumps; working on jobs involving scaffolding and platform work; using hoisting and rigging methods; and similar and less skilled work as assigned. Work is performed under direct, but not constant, supervision, on a rotating or day shift schedule as required.

• Perform general labor and cleaning in and around an Energy Center.
• Operate and maintain energy center equipment in operating areas and shops.
• Use electrical and air powered tools and operate sump pumps.
• Perform jobs involving scaffolding, platform work, hoisting, and rigging methods.
• Execute less skilled work as assigned.
• Work under direct, but not constant, supervision on a rotating or day shift schedule.

• Ameren's Coal Fired Energy Centers located in Alton, IL;
  Festus, MO;
  Labadie, MO; or Arnold, MO.
• Ameren's Nuclear Plant located in Fulton, MO.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully complete the EEI power plant battery aptitude test.
• Candidates referred by Ameren's TRW Program Coordinator are strongly preferred.

Hourly Pay:
Grade Step OA 087 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) - 24.87 USD. Position is eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance and subject to sole management discretion.
