Sound like a family you're ready to join? Here's what we are looking for in this position:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical transmission projects from development to closeout, including scheduling with Primavera P6, permits, cost estimates, engineering design, procurement, and vendor management.
- Lead design and construction progress meetings, ensuring team delivers on schedule and quality.
- Coordinate equipment orders with engineering to meet project timelines.
- Create and evaluate bid packages and contractor proposals.
- Foster strong relationships with project and construction teams through communication and site visits.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Develop project plans supporting client funding and approval processes.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within client service territory.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience managing transmission or distribution projects, including construction phase.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with industry, government, and public contacts.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Valid driver’s license.
