Position Responsibilities:

* Apply engineering principles, standards, and best practices to support electronic and electrical systems development.
* Develop, document, and maintain system requirements based on customer and contract specifications.
* Create technical performance specifications and statements of work.
* Analyze requirements and translate them into system architecture, hardware, software, and interface designs while maintaining traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
* Perform system testing and validation to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
* Investigate and resolve product integration issues and production anomalies.
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies for future system designs and business applications.
* Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with program requirements.
* Develop and maintain hardware, software, and interface specifications.
* Support fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a fully onsite environment.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
* 5-9 years of relevant engineering experience.
* Experience developing and maintaining electronic and electrical system requirements.
* Knowledge of system architecture, hardware, software, and interface design.
* Experience with system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
* Ability to relocate to or currently reside in the St. Louis, MO area.
* Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Clearance required before start. Preferred

Skills:

* Aerospace industry experience.
* Experience working on design, build, or test engineering teams.
* Knowledge of engineering process development and improvement.
* Experience with electronic/electrical system design and testing based on requirements.
* Strong understanding of system architecture, data structures, and systems engineering principles.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
