What You’ll Do As a valued member of the retail banking team, you will play a key role in supporting banking operations and contributing to important decisions. Tellers work in a fast-paced, engaging environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will project a professional image and serve as the face and voice of our organization. Responsibilities- Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. Transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, ATM, and other avenues.
- Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
- Actively listen to customers and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times, even in difficult situations.
- Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services, ensuring recommendations are customer-centric to meet the customer needs.
- Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
- Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, computer/typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency.
- Analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
- Ability to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
