We are seeking an experienced LIHTC Loan Officer to manage complex lending relationships within the Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) space. This is a highly visible role that combines credit analysis, relationship management, portfolio oversight, and business development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of LIHTC financing, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex transactions while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Manage and grow significant LIHTC lending relationships
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the bank
- Underwrite and analyze LIHTC construction, equity, and pre‑development loans
- Review financial statements, project budgets, sources and uses, and contingency funding
- Monitor construction progress, draw requests, project milestones, and placed‑in‑service deadlines
- Present credit recommendations and portfolio updates to executive leadership and loan committees
- Analyze portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with loan covenants, banking regulations, and internal policies
- Communicate with developers, attorneys, participating banks, regulators, and project stakeholders
- Assist in enhancing reporting processes, portfolio monitoring tools, and operational efficiencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in LIHTC lending, underwriting, or specialty finance
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, regulations, and development financing structures
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and credit underwriting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
