The role blends paraplanning responsibilities with client-facing service, providing hands‑on experience across every stage of the planning process while offering a clear path toward becoming a Lead Financial Advisor.

Position Overview

This individual will assist with plan development, investment analysis, and meeting preparation while also becoming increasingly involved in client meetings, ongoing relationship management, and day‑to‑day client service.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while continuing to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with advisors to prepare comprehensive financial plans, retirement projections, investment analyses, and client meeting materials.
  • Participate in client meetings, document action items, and coordinate follow‑up to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients by responding to service requests and assisting with ongoing planning needs.
  • Analyze financial information and assist in developing retirement, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning strategies.
  • Prepare planning reports, recommendations, and presentation materials using financial planning software.
  • Coordinate account openings, transfers, money movement, beneficiary updates, and other client service activities.
  • Work closely with advisors and operations professionals to ensure timely execution of planning recommendations.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge and advisory skills while assuming increasing responsibility for client relationships.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory.
  • Experience supporting financial advisors and preparing financial plans.
  • Strong understanding of retirement planning, investments, and financial planning concepts.
  • Series 65 (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) preferred.
  • CFP designation or active pursuit of the CFP is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Passion for financial planning and helping clients achieve long‑term success.
  • A proactive, team‑first attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Someone who enjoys balancing technical planning work with meaningful client interaction.
