Job Description:

The pharmacist will work within the inpatient pharmacy, primarily on the ground floor of the main campus. The role involves assisting with pharmacy operations for a hospital containing 285 private rooms. Responsibilities include medication verification, supervising technicians in compounding and checking doses, and performing pain consults. Equipment such as Dose Edge, Pyxis, and Pak Edge are utilized, with Meditech as the EMR system.
Responsibilities:
Vancomycin / Aminoglycoside / Anticoagulant dosing
Pain consults
Medication verification
Supervising technicians in compounding sterile IVs, checking Pyxis, first doses, and emergency med boxes
Requirements:
Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School
Licensed to practice Pharmacy in MO
ACLS / BLS (preferred)
NICU experience (preferred)
