What you will do:

Responsible for ancillary support to multiple procedural suites, room turnover team member to promote OR efficiency and throughput, floating between Pre-op, Post-op, and intra-procedural units depending on the needs of the day, working under the supervision of a licensed RN can work as a 2nd circulator when necessary. Perioperative assistants assist nurses and physicians in providing quality patient care by ensuring cleanliness and equipment availability for surgical procedures.

Preferred Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills:

Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills

Skills:

Meditech, faxing, scanning.

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:

Basic Life Support

Preferred Experience:

One or more years' experience in a hospital Operating Room
