* Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Embark Behavioral Health

Join a mission-driven, trauma-informed, patient-centered team supporting adolescents (12–17) in mental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development
. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement
.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills
  • Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines
  • Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques
  • Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams
  • Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols

Qualifications:

  • 21+ with HS diploma/GED (degree in human services preferred)
  • 0–1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services (preferred)
  • Willingness for CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training (provided)
  • Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization
  • Must pass background and drug screening per MO law
  • Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience
