MH Hospitality is seeking a motivated and results-driven
Director of Sales
to join the team at
Staybridge Suites Kansas City
. This is a hands-on role focused on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and supporting overall hotel sales efforts. This position reports directly to the
General Manager
and works closely with hotel leadership to grow business and increase occupancy.

- Drive hotel revenue through strategic sales of guestrooms and group business
- Develop and maintain corporate, government, and group accounts
- Spend approximately 80% of time on outside sales, including sales calls, site visits, and networking
- Conduct hotel tours and client meetings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and local partners
- Negotiate room rates and contracts within approved guidelines
- Track and document sales activity, bookings, and forecasts
- Participate in revenue meetings and local networking events
- Collaborate with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategies
- Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled
- Maintain a professional image and follow company policies
- Occasional local travel for sales calls and networking
- Regular interaction with guests, clients, and hotel staff
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality sales experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven negotiation and closing abilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and computer proficient
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
- Ability to travel locally for sales calls and networking
