Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Local Infrastructure Engineer to support a 9+ month infrastructure deployment effort for a federal customer environment. This individual will be responsible for rack and stack activities, installation and configuration of Dell infrastructure solutions, Azure Local deployment, and customer training/knowledge transfer.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dell Storage Arrays, Dell Power Edge Servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure deployments. This role will work directly with the customer to help implement and support a new hypervisor platform environment.
Responsibilities- Perform rack and stack installation of Dell Storage Arrays and Dell Power Edge Servers
- Install, configure, and support Azure Local environments
- Configure storage, compute, networking, and virtualization infrastructure
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues
- Support system integration, testing, and operational readiness efforts
- Provide customer training and knowledge transfer on Azure Local administration and management
- Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
- Work closely with customer stakeholders throughout the deployment lifecycle
- Experience with Dell Storage Arrays and Dell Power Edge Servers
- Hands‑on rack and stack deployment experience
- Experience with Azure Local or similar virtualization/hypervisor platforms
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage, networking, and virtualization
- Ability to train and support end customers in managing infrastructure environments
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Missouri preferred
