The Technical Writer will create, revise, and maintain clear, accurate, and user‑friendly documentation that communicates complex technical information to developers, end‑users, and stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts, exceptional communication skills, and collaboration across teams to ensure documentation aligns with product updates and user needs.

• Collaborate with internal teams across programs to identify and address documentation needs, ensuring alignment with product and system updates.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive documentation plan, including gathering and analyzing technical and product information.
• Independently create, review, revise, and maintain clear documentation for both technical and non‑technical users, ensuring accuracy and usability.
• Engage with peers and stakeholders to identify priorities of work and manage priorities for program growth.
• Plan, schedule, and track documentation tasks to meet product release dates and client deliverables, while maintaining a well‑organized documentation library.
• Publish and maintain standardized templates for documentation, providing guidance to developers and community members to ensure consistency and quality.

• Must meet one of the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, English, or a related discipline with 1+ years’ relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Proven ability to create clear and effective documentation for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced agile environment, demonstrating proactive and strategic problem‑solving skills.
• This position requires a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance; the applicant must be able to attain and maintain this clearance.

• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Required to pass employee possessor vetting per U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• Must be authorized to access ITAR controlled technical data per export license requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; non‑citizens are ineligible for on‑site access.
