Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical, rail cars, silos, pumps, PMs on compressors, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and infrastructure
• Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and general facility improvements
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and time management abilities
