Job Overview

Bakers use their understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create baked goods. They measure and mix raw ingredients, bake and decorate items, and ensure that all raw and finished goods adhere to quality and food safety standards.

• Prepare, produce, and bake cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, pies and desserts.
• Decorate baked goods such as cream pies using a pastry bag.
• Set time and speed controls for mixing machines so ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.
• Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream using scales or graduated containers.
• Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure proper storage and refrigeration.
• Keep spoilage/waste to a minimum by utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
• CLEAN, BREAK DOWN, AND PUT AWAY all baking equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Eligibility is assessed after one year of full-time employment.

Strict dress code is required.

Tips are paid nightly.
