Industrial Technician – Cement Plant

The experienced Industrial Technician is a multi‑skilled position responsible for the operation, housekeeping, and industrial maintenance of the cement plant.

• Practice and promote safety, including assessing risks before tasks, performing only authorized activities and using proper PPE.
• Perform walk‑by inspections and checklists on operating process plant.
• Perform industrial maintenance activities (e.g., rigging, cutting, welding, fitting, lubrication, alignment, basic low‑voltage electrical repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics).
• Make repairs, installations and replacements on a wide variety of equipment.
• Operate light and medium‑sized plant mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize equipment during operation and mechanical breakdowns; conduct mechanical maintenance.
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, and participate in various team activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas; promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Required

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Required

Work Experience:

5 years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Required to work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, and at times around and over water, in dusty environments and confined spaces.
• Must be able to work any shift as required.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a team‑based environment.
• Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators. If required to wear respirators, must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
