What You Will Do
  • Participate in harvest activities such as preparation, drying, shelling, husk oversight, product unloading, and other relevant processes.
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant, field, and warehouse operations that evolve with each season throughout the year.
  • Accurately monitor highly automated equipment for processes such as harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing.
  • Product return and sorting activities.
  • Actively participate in conditioning activities such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, palletizing, etc.
  • Field activities such as scouting, inspection, and managing logistics.
  • Use automation and computerized systems to perform work tasks (computers and iPads).
  • Perform warehouse activities such as forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, and other duties.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED OR willingness and ability to obtain a GED within twelve (12) months of hire as a condition of employment.
What Skills You Need
  • Willingness and ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work involving repetitive motion and lifting.
  • Comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude, including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required.
  • Strong diligence, ability to multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and possess excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.
  • Team orientation, initiative-taking, effective communication, and acceptance of change.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills suitable for internal and external customers.
  • Integrity and promotion of a positive working environment, willingness to assist team members consistently.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards, adherence to safety protocols and policies to ensure safe days for all.
  • Understanding of timely deliveries, willingness to work rotating shifts, night and weekend overtime during seasonal peaks to support production demand.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Two‑Year Technical or Associate’s Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
  • At least one (1) year of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or a related industry.
  • Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work.
  • General knowledge or experience with field and/or agriculture equipment (plows, tractors, forklifts, etc.).

  • This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation package.
