Leads/Finishing 1st Shift ($)
This role requires attaching lead wires or terminals to copper wire, securing and insulating the connections before applying the insulation material and nameplate to the unit per design specifications. Lead installation involves hand tools and hydraulic or manual crimping tools to splice copper wire to lead wire or terminals. Finishing duties include operating the taping machine and applying finishing insulation material by hand.

- Operate hydraulic crimpers
- Alter, trim, and attach materials such as wire, insulation, and tape per work instructions
- Set up the finishing machine, understand settings and functions, and ensure proper operation to avoid downtime
- Perform pre‑inspection and post‑inspection of cores and materials
- Finish units to the production specification sheet
- Operate a hoist safely and properly
- Read, use, and understand measuring devices
- Ability to stand for extensive periods of time
- Be punctual, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic
- Work independently and foster teamwork with others
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
