Base pay rate is $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
Shift
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 3:30PM opportunity for overtime
A Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in manufacturing and production, ensuring that workflows are optimized and deadlines are met. The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing production schedules to ensure efficient operations. They work closely with various departments, including production, logistics, and procurement, to streamline processes and meet customer demands.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability. Ensure proper use of inventory including a FIFO routine. Create and manage work orders for stock and custom parts.
- Workflow Coordination: Ensure smooth operations by aligning production activities with inventory and supply chain needs. Create and modify bill of materials.
- Monitoring & Adjustments: Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with production teams, suppliers, and management to optimize efficiency.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Maintain records, analyze production trends, and generate reports for management. - Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards. Assisting other teams and departments as needed.
- Organizational
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize tasks effectively. - Analytical Thinking: Strong problem‑solving skills to optimize production workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills. Experience with scheduling software and production management tools.
- Communication
Skills:
Ability to coordinate with different teams and stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scheduling and work order creation.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, inventory management, or logistics.
- Lifting Capacity – ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Mobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etc.
- Exposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non‑climate‑controlled environment.
- Noise Tolerance – High noise levels.
