Overview

We are seeking a Medical Surgical RN in Independence, MO. This unit offers opportunities to work with patients recovering from surgical procedures and those with complex medical conditions in a 49-bed department. With a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, this is a chance to build strong skills in a fast-paced but team-oriented environment.

Deliver safe and effective patient care across med/surg specialty areas.

Assess patient needs, administer medications, and monitor progress.

Provide patient and family education to support recovery.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Participate in quality and safety initiatives.

RN license in Missouri or Compact state.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).

At least 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Current BLS certification.
