Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of circulating experience with a strong focus on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma cases.

Job Details

• Work setting is a hospital surgical unit with 10 OR beds and a team of approximately 50 staff,

• High-volume unit performing approximately 500 cases per month across orthopedics, neuro, GU, cardiac, endovascular, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery,

• Equipment includes robotic (da Vinci), ortho, neuro, GU, cardiac, endovascular, and laparoscopic systems,

• Patient ratio is 1:1,

• Shift hours are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM,

• Must be available to run two rooms on weekends,

• EMR system is Meditech,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MO RN license or a Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start),

• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required, with emphasis on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma,

• Must be able to independently circulate ortho, neuro, da Vinci robotic, and trauma cases,

• Must be able to run two rooms on weekends,

• Meditech EMR experience preferred,

• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

• Two professional references required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible,

• Blue scrubs required,

• Must be staffed in-house to support trauma designation,
