Centerstone (formerly known as Burrell) is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our collaborative team in Independence, Missouri and Kansas City, MO. * Key Responsibilities:
*** Provide compassionate nursing care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services
* Assess clients' physical and emotional health needs and contribute to individualized treatment planning
* Administer medications and monitor client progress, responses to treatment, and overall wellbeing
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
* Educate clients and family members about mental health conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care strategies
* Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams regarding client status, concerns, and treatment recommendations
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
* Promote a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment that respects the dignity and individuality of each client
** Education, Experience, and/or Credential
Qualifications:
*** Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
* Ability to provide nursing services in accordance with professional standards of practice
* Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred
*
