Emergency Room

BJC Health Care seeks an Emergency Room professional to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this role, you will triage and assess patients with urgent and emergent conditions, perform rapid clinical assessments and interventions, and collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team. You'll document accurately in the EMR, support patient and family education, and uphold safety and quality standards.

• Triage and assess patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform rapid clinical assessments, diagnostics, and interventions per protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following physician orders
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and elevate care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment, follow-up, and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMRMaintain compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
• Participate in continuous learning, skills development, and quality initiatives
