American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Telemetry unit requiring ACLS certification and experience with post-cath and pacemaker patient recovery.

• 13-week seasonal travel assignment on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit (7N)
• 7A-7P shift schedule
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• Unit utilizes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vitals machines
• EMR:
  Meditech
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Friday/Saturday nights or Saturday/Sunday days)
• Floating required to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU

• Active RN license (MO or compact) required
• ACLS certification required, not expiring within first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry
• Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips required
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required for MO placements

• Grey scrub color required for RNs
• Best suited for a fast-paced, high-energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
