Role Overview: This position is for a CRNA working in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for various medical and surgical procedures. The role involves providing direct patient care, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards. It requires participation in professional development and completing pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing laboratory results and initiating induction when appropriate.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care and documentation
- Ensuring legal and safety compliance
- Completing pre-anesthesia assessments and preparing patients for procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience or supervisor experience
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (RN Anesthetist)
- Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing
Key Attributes: Must work in a safety-sensitive capacity, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.
