Food Quality & Safety, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Quality Control - QC Analysts/Managers
SQF Practitioner for the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and continuing education in the
areas of Food Safety & Quality, Regulatory Compliance, through self-audit activities to ensure that the company’s
objective for food safety, regulatory mandates, compliance, meets or exceed standards.
Leads the Food Safety Team, Quality Control personnel and sanitation personnel.
Maintains documentation for regulatory compliance, including label approvals, and laboratory analysis
demonstrating compliance.
Conduct annual system review of the SQF Food Safety Management System, Food Safety Plans, and Prerequisite
Programs, including verification and validation activities.
Assist in the research, testing, verification and validation of new products from bench top to production.
Stay abreast of FDA & USDA regulations & policies, SQF standards, industry trends and new technologies,
bringing recommendations to management.
Work closely with Plant Management on Food Safety.
Oversees raw material and finished product laboratory analysis and any associated corrective actions.
Oversees, tracks and trends product holds, complaints, inspections, tests, swab data, etc.
Facilitates internal, customer, and third party audits and directs corrective actions.
Completes questionnaires and answers all quality related questions from customers.
Manages approved supplier program.
Determine application & methodology for analytical, Microbiological, or bacteriological testing protocols, and
implement and direct Quality Assurance in protocol.
Perform any special assignments as directed by upper management.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a continuous process manufacturing industry and preferably the food industry preferred.
