Job Overview
Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and build deep customer relationships through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates excel at identifying customer needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions, and exceeding performance targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities- Engage with a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
- Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identify customer needs, and use solution‑based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services.
- Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, and processes, and maintain knowledge of systems and reference resources. Review personal results and current promotions, and stay customer‑ready at all times. Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers, practice skills, share knowledge, and perform store operations, opening and closing procedures, and secure kiosk assets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, build rapport, trust, and loyalty, proactive outreach, referrals, and manage Be Back processes. Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail.
- Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Passionate customer advocate focused on balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
- Team‑building mindset, willing to share best practices and resolve issues with peers and store leaders (Required)
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
