Position Summary What you’ll do
Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy. Implements business processes and practices, operates forklift safely, picks up, moves, places, and positions merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations.
Carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties and feedback. Receives stock and organizes merchandise and supplies, manages inventory flow, merchandising, working inventory, correcting shelf capacities, completing required paperwork and logs. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and promoting the company’s products and services.
Maintains safety of facility according to company policies, conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting procedures, handles hazardous materials, follows steel standard guidelines, reports unsafe situations. Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation, zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging, delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, following sanitation and food safety procedures and monitoring shrink security risks.
Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled, assists with picking orders, stages products, ensures Merchandising Associates pick orders within acceptable timeframe, performs occasional audits. Handles inventory, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor inventory practices. Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports unsafe conditions, informs management of forklift issues. Proactively identifies customers who need help, assists them with technology services, models and helps others, identifies shrink opportunities, maintains equipment, ensures products are organized and stocked, fixes problems.

- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification; ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
