Business Development Manager

Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our Chesterfield office. In this role, you'll manage a defined territory, build meaningful client relationships, and lead the full sales cycle. From identifying new opportunities to delivering high-impact presentations to hospital executives, you'll play a key role in demonstrating why JPS continues to be a trusted partner in physician recruitment.

• Promote company services to existing and prospective accounts
• 35-50% travel (a year) within a multi-state territory within the Midwest region
• Achieve monthly and annual search production goals
• Schedule in-person meetings and present to physician recruiting decision makers (C‑Suite)
• Develop and maintain working relationships with current and prospective clients
• Negotiate and close sales contracts, with a focus on new business
• Partner with recruiting teams to manage client relationships
• Make recommendations regarding service, and relay customer feedback
• Promote services at trade shows

• 3-5 years outside solutions sales experience, or 3+ years in healthcare staffing sales required
• Excellent prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face presentation, and closing skills required
• Confident, energetic, and professional presence: ability to effectively build relationships, overcome objections, and close business with C‑Suite Executives required
• Knowledge and proven success in securing new business required
• Interpersonal, strategic communication, and relationship-building skills required
• Strong organizational and computer skills required;
  Salesforce/CRM experience preferred
• Stable employment history with verifiable references required
