Starting Wage: Dependent on Qualifications (DOQ)
Pay Range: $29.42 - $38.69 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-3p), Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt, Union (Teamsters)
Environmental Laboratory AnalystThis position conducts routine & advanced laboratory testing and environmental sampling, maintains analytical equipment, performs quality control activities, and ensures adherence to SOPs and safety requirements; manages laboratory data, documentation and reporting to maintain accurate, defensible records; supports industrial pretreatment, environmental monitoring and continuous process improvement efforts; all while ensuring all work meets strict standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory testing and environmental sampling to support wastewater treatment operations and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain analytical equipment, perform quality control activities, and ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs and safety requirements.
- Manage laboratory data, documentation, and reporting to maintain accurate, defensible records.
- Support industrial pretreatment, environmental monitoring, and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field
- OR Associates degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field with at least 2 years related experience
- Experience with office and communications equipment and software
- Highly proficient with MS Office software and databases
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
