Overview
A Level 3 iSOC Coordinator manages real‑time interactions and interventions during critical security events. Responsibilities include live audio communication with individuals at monitored sites, preventing security breaches, handling incidents such as trespassing, and de‑escalating potential threats. The role requires rapid decision‑making, alarm verification, video monitoring, and clear communication with customers and emergency personnel.
Shift & CompensationShift hours: 4:30pm – 1:00am, with 8–10 hour shifts for flexibility. Full benefits start Day1 of employment. Paid vacation: 3weeks; paid sick time: 10days. Shift differentials apply for evening, overnight, and weekend hours. Eligible for a monthly performance bonus (up to $1,000) and an attendance bonus (up to $250 per month, up to $3,000 per year).
Responsibilities- Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations.
- Conduct virtual security escorts during business operations.
- Communicate with customer sites using advanced two‑way audio/video surveillance technology.
- Evaluate alarms, verify via video, and place outgoing calls to confirm signal validity.
- Notify specified individuals of alarm events per customer instructions.
- Provide life‑safety support by coordinating timely dispatch to emergency personnel.
- Assist with basic alarm support: arming, disarming, and resetting alarms.
- Manage live audio interactions during alarm events or customer requests.
- Intervene during real‑time incidents, projecting authority and maintaining clear communication.
- Handle loitering, trespassing, and other security violations, often requiring de‑escalation.
- Document all interactions, ensuring proper follow‑up and resolution of incidents.
- Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life‑safety interventions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred:
Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to remain calm and positive in high‑pressure situations.
