Purpose:
Under general supervision, the Compliance Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to ensure compliance with firm wide policies and client standards.
- Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Reviews all compliance related inquiries including disputes, verifications, and fraud claims to ensure proper
categorization to meet firm and client requirements and prepares/mails standard responses to these inquiries. - Coordinates complaint and dispute related notifications to clients and monitors and handles all resolutions.
- Creates and maintains department and client specific procedures.
- Oversees receipt and activation of pre-existing judgment inventory and works with external firms to obtain legal
documents per client/state requirements. - Compiles reports and provides initial review of data to provide to management and client requests.
- Responds to client audit related inquiries, reviews documents and provides information where possible, from existing
Firm data. - Performs account level review to summarize history for internal/client responses and performs gap analysis to identify
issues and remediation plans to resolve. - Serves as liaison between internal department customers and external clients.
- Reviews client standard updates and executes system client profile changes to meet business and client needs.
- Assists in contacting firm vendors to request and track completion of vendor requirements.
- Assists Compliance Officer and management in coordinating handling and responses to litigation and regulatory
matters. - Complete all required training applicable to this position
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Other duties, as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- 1-2 years relevant business or legal experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Skill in investigative research to resolve issues
- The ability to deal with a variety of client issues in an appropriate and professional manner
- Collaboration with internal departments and external clients for information sharing and gathering Skill with Microsoft
Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Must pass background check and drug screen.
- The expected pay range for this position is $/hour
