Hondros College of Nursing is hiring an Administrative Coordinator for the Independence Campus! This is an entry level role and great opportunity to join us in making a difference in lives of others!
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a student, faculty, and staff resource and ambassador for the college
- Provides professional, courteous, timely front/reception desk customer service to students, faculty, staff, and customers; referring students, faculty, staff, and customers to other college support services as needed
- Performs general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, processing book returns, issuing uniforms, and scheduling, organizing, and operating classrooms and campus-based spaces
- Complete student payment processes including taking payments, completing ledger corrections, and making bank deposits
- Creates and maintains student academic files; ensuring all compliance requirements are met
- Creates and maintains student academic documentation tracking
- Executes student cancellation reporting
- Partners with the Registrar's Office to complete student file audits; ensuring that student files remain accurate and compliant
- Records and maintains student attendance records
- Coordinates and manages student IEP testing
- Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment
- Participates in new student orientation activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least one year experience in admissions, student services, or campus operations position
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of admissions/registration and student services processes
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong knowledge of career development and job search processes
- Excellent presentation skills
- Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain security of confidential student records
- Ability to work with a diverse student population

Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $37,900.00 to $49,300.00. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs.
This range is subject to change.
