Distribution Systems Analyst

Location: Independence, OH

Salary Range: $80k - $85k

Responsible for the development and support of the Organization’s processes, technical training, and technology. Focuses on driving effective change in people, process, and technology while fulfilling operational support needs.

• Provide frontline support for Distribution systems and On-board Computer GUI, including calls off hours and weekends.
• Troubleshoot terminal related issues such as trip printing, hours of service issues, and trip data capture.
• Build skill set and knowledge base of Planners through continuous improvement training and analysis on specific issues.
• Develop and produce Distribution Key Performance Indicators and scorecards to maximize continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform regular data checks and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently.
• Develop and implement process improvements for Logistics and Distribution.
• Liaise with Business and IT to implement value‑added system updates.
• Drive timely resolution of system performance issues through IT support.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, design review, test script creation, integration/performance/UAT activities for break‑fix and enhancement requests.
• Act as local expert for “what‑if” scenarios related to customer master data change requests.
• Serve as super user for Distribution and Logistics Systems.
• Provide coaching and feedback to Logistics Center Leadership on Planner performance and training needs.

• 2‑4 years experience in a fast‑paced business logistics and/or supply chain function.
• Exceptional relationship building and communication skills across various organizational levels.
• Sound knowledge of business principles, processes and concepts related to manufacturing, service and distribution facilities, including VMI, customer service and demand/supply planning.
• Functional knowledge in one of these areas (3‑4 years).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and be results‑oriented.
• Demonstrated change management skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, Power BI and Google App Scripts.
• Deep understanding of API integration processes.
• Experience designing and executing functional testing and UAT.
• Experience with proprietary and/or off‑the‑shelf planning/optimization programs.
• Ability to drive behaviors based on data.
• Experience developing and facilitating training material for new hires and existing associates.

• 4‑year business degree (business logistics or supply chain management).
