GPD is currently seeking a Civil Designer in our Independence, OH office location to provide site designs of Federal focused programs.
The ideal candidate will possess:- Associate’s degree in Civil Tech Engineering, or Engineering Design is preferred but not required.
- 3+ years’ experience with Site planning, engineering, and plan coordination.
- Familiar with and worked in Civil 3-D and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and stay organized while working on multiple projects.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Site planning and coordination.
- Grading and storm water management design.
- Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
- Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew.
