The Compliance Audit Analyst is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of Firm processes to meet client requirements and programs; identifying client trends/gaps; and processing client reconciliations to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable standards.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
  • Review, compile and respond to client inquiries.
  • Analyze internal/client reports to respond to client inquiries or assist department members with audit requests.
  • Assists with review of client reconciliation inquiries including balance and legal data.
  • Assists with reconciliation reporting to department management and clients.
  • Provides updates to management to identify processes and develop reporting required to maintain compliance with client and regulatory standards.
  • Audits, analyzes, and monitors client coding after coding implementation or audit remediation utilizing system reports to maintain compliance with client standards.
  • Performs internal reviews of department activity to report gaps or issues to management
  • Identifies potential issues with adherence to client standards and refers to business or support unit management team and management for follow-up.
  • Reviews Firm wide activities, examines records, system and client data, to ensure compliance with client work standards, Firm procedures, and all other applicable rules and regulations, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (F.D.C.P.A.) and state laws.
  • Prepares and submits audit findings and makes recommendations to management.
  • Conducts special studies for management such as those required to discover mechanics of detected errors and to develop controls for error prevention.
  • Documents activities and procedures and prepares procedure manuals, as needed.
  • Keeps abreast of new or changing client standards and WWR policies to ensure department and business activities remain in compliance.
  • Maintains records of client reconciliations and internal reviews or audits performed.
  • Complete all required training applicable to this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications
  • Degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years relevant collection experience, understanding of the legal business processes, data analysis or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Efficient use of reporting and data tools to analyze reports for internal and external requests.
  • Collaboration and issue reporting with internal departments and external clients for information sharing and gathering around business procedures and processes.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Compensation and Benefits
  • The expected pay range is $65,536.74 - $81,881.68 based upon experience
