Job Title: Controller
Location: Independence, Ohio
Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000

Key Responsibilities (Controller):

• Lead and oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting

• Review balance sheet reconciliations, proactively resolving aged or complex items

• Collaborate closely with Tax and Audit teams to support internal and external audits and ensure compliance

• Drive process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and scalability

• Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional stakeholders and act as a key accounting point of contact

Preferred Qualifications (Controller):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA strongly preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership or supervisory responsibilities

• Background in a global or shared services environment, with manufacturing experience highly desirable
