This open position would join a team of six (6) with an average of 20 years of service with the firm.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Traces whereabouts of consumers with the intention of finding a current address, utilizing both printed and on-line resources. Once a new address is located the Asset Locator requests the reissue of complaint
- Locates and verifies employment/property ownership, requests property liens and wage garnishments as applicable
- Locates/verifies bank accounts and requests bank attachments
- When there are no attachable assets the asset locator reviews the credit bureau trade lines to identify the creditor that a Subpoena for documentation should be sent to
- Meets pre-determined monthly quotas, specific quality and volume requirements for designated activities.
- Analyzes issues, makes decisions and follows up with peers and management
- Builds appropriate rapport and establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external clients, gaining their trust and respect
- Telephones possible consumer phone leads to verify right party and may transfer to Legal Account Resolution Specialists
- Ensures accounts are updated with new information as it is obtained
- Complete all required training applicable to this position
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum
- 0-6 months relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures; computer operation; and internet research.
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
- The expected compensation is $17.22 hr.
- $20.50 hr., based upon experience. - Paid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually + 9 Company paid holidays

The employee will experience low to moderate noise levels and moderate interruptions. The workspace is well-lit and climate controlled.
