Systems Engineer

Contract-to-Hire | Onsite at MCPC Client – Independence, Ohio

MCPC is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support one of our established clients located in Independence, OH. This onsite, contract-to-hire position is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing the client’s Azure cloud environment. You will collaborate closely with internal development, operations, and security teams to ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and high performing.

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure within the client’s environment.
• Monitor cloud systems and optimize performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Apply and maintain security best practices to protect Azure resources.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure services, integrations, and performance.
• Maintain documentation for all cloud systems, processes, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and recommendations to client stakeholders andPC internal teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; experience in financial services is a plus.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure architecture and cloud computing principles.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Power Shell, and Azure CLI.
• Familiarity with identity and access management and cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Preferred certifications:
  Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
