Quality Assurance Representative- 1st shift

Your Responsibilities

This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the quality management system. Responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the "Material Review Bay" and serving as a trainer on quality system documents and record‑keeping duties to demonstrate compliance.

• Document and data control oversight in Plant, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, corrective and preventive actions and their follow‑ups, oversight of quality records held in Plant.
• Process auditing for compliance to procedures and implementing statistical control of equipment and processes.
• Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non‑conforming material.
• Act as trainer on quality department documents (does not own all Plant training).
• Ensure proper records are maintained for gauges, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
• Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.

• Good written and verbal skills; detail‑oriented to the requirements of the Quality Management System. Quality system training preferred but not required; desire for additional formal training should exist.
• Rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and exposure to a fast‑paced warehouse environment; comfortable with short task completion expectations.
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce and effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.
• Formal quality training preferred but not required; additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor.

• ASQ certification.
• 3 years of Quality Assurance/Control experience.
• Experience or training in ISO
  9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.
