ALL Crane Service, LLC is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic – Diesel Engine Rebuilder. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package. The position is eligible for a $300 candidate sign‑on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.
Essential Functions- Disassemble, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
- Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain a positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
- Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
- Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience with Cummins engines and INSITE software is a plus
- Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Must have a strong diesel engine background
- Must have a basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
- Able to lift 50 lbs
